THE THIRD CHAPTER OF OUR THREE-YEAR PROGRAM, WOVEN AROUND THE THEME OF “FALLOWING”.
Since 2022, Dyana Ouvrard has been leading Le Labo towards artistic and ethical degrowth until 2025, working alongside the eco-responsibility committee and opening dialogue on issues of circularity in media arts production. Particular attention is paid to other crucial issues such as quality of life at work, accessibility of the arts to all, and the decolonization of our artistic practices.
These are questions that we’ve been working on for years through our programming, and which are close to my heart. Indeed, the approach I try to share here at Le Labo is guided by an intention to slow down and take our time, because I firmly believe that slowness and long-term reflection are essential to nurturing creativity. And I dare to think I’m not the only one… This principle is enshrined in our strategic plan and is the common thread running through our three-year “La Jachère” program. In a world often in a hurry, let’s value intentional slowness, which enables us to reflect on our relationship with living beings and with care.
