In 2023, throughout the year, come and take part in a major collaborative, feminist and committed art project at the Labo studio, based on letter-writing to question identity, gender and patriarchy, 6 degrés.
We are inviting you to take part in a multi-format exchange of letters (no matter your language) that will result in a public exhibition in March 2024.
We’d like to give you a safe space in which to express the questions that run through you as a woman, by reading the correspondence recently written by initiating artists Noémie Roy, Julie Lassonde, Sophie Dumesny and Éveline Boudreau.
Come and express your sincerity and offer us your authentic portrait!

Materials at your disposal
paper, computers, typewriters.
You can write your letter on the spot, handwritten or typed*, or use the illustration. You can leave the letters with us at the studio, e-mail them to programmation@lelabo.ca or send them by Canada Post to our address (Le Labo studio 277 – 401 Richmond Street West – Toronto ON M5V3A8).
