Des auteurs qui publient des livres à cet âge-là, il n’y en a pas beaucoup. À 14 ans, Sabrina signait son premier contrat d’auteure et publiait, un an plus tard, le journal d’une intimidée. Aujourd’hui âgée de 17 ans, Sabrina parcourt le Québec pour sensibiliser les jeunes du secondaire et des cégeps aux méfaits de l’intimidation. Voici son histoire. – Directed by Josiane Blanc

Josiane is a passionate storyteller and a firm believer in the use of media as a vector of change. Globetrotter passionate about social issues and cultural interactions, Josiane’s versatility allowed her to occupy a wide range of positions in Canada, Europe, South America and Africa, memorable experiences during which she had the chance to document the lives of the people she met on her way. In 2016, she developed and directed for TFO Amazing Teenagers, a series of short documentaries about exceptional teenagers who have distinguished themselves by their actions, inventions and / or community engagements. Selected for Black Women Film Canada’s Emerging Women Mentorship Program in 2017, Doc Institute’s Emerging Producers Breakthrough program in 2018 and winner of the ONF (NFB) Tremplin Emerging Directors competition in 2018, Josiane is currently developing several documentary projects which she hopes will help give voice to some of the under-represented groups in our society.
