In partnership with Lycée Français Toronto (LFT)

(In)finis brings together the paintings, sculptures, drawings, photography, video and installation art of the students of the Arts class of the Lycée Français de Toronto. This year, these young artists questioned the laws that govern our human experience and their representations: gravity, movement in space and inner movement. In exploring the question of « infinity », the use of pattern and recurrence emerged as the most relevant means to express the absence of limits and the multitude in unique personal approaches, which will be presented for the first time at the Galerie du Labo from May 24 to 26, 2025.
For the past two years, Le Labo has collaborated with the Lycée Français Toronto to offer students in the visual arts program their first professional experience in a gallery. This year, we are once again proud to support this young generation of artists through (In)finis, a collective exhibition which brings together sensitive proposals in 2D, 3D, text and image. This partnership reflects our commitment to the artistic Francophonie in Toronto and our desire to support the artists of tomorrow, from their very first steps!
Presented as part of Doors Open Toronto, (In)finis is part of an event that celebrates the city’s iconic cultural venues. This is the perfect opportunity to visit 401 Richmond, discover the life that animates it, explore its galleries, its boutiques, its artists’ studios and even enjoy its green roof. A free, friendly, and inspiring activity for the whole family!
