Le Labo is proud to partner with the Canadian Club of Toronto and the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) to present a unique French-language event on art and Francophone culture. The program includes several 45-minute guided tours, an open bar, and a rich agenda featuring discussions, artistic exploration, and networking opportunities.

This immersive evening offers a balanced experience combining reflection, artistic exploration, and social interaction.

  • Cocktails and networking: a great opportunity to connect with speakers, participants, and attendees in a friendly atmosphere
  • Panel discussion: a dialogue bringing together artists and institutions to discuss the role of art in contemporary Francophone culture
  • Guided tours: a unique opportunity to explore the AGO’s collections

Influential voices from the French-speaking art world. The panel will feature:

  • Carolina Reis is a visual artist and former director of the Labo, whose textile work explores and challenges our cultural realities.
  • Jessica Bright is the Chief of Exhibitions, Collections & Conservation at the AGO, responsible for managing exhibitions, collections, and their preservation.
  • Lise Beaudry is a photographer and a member of the Labo, who explores photography as a platform for experimentation, drawing inspiration from archives and landscapes. (Lise’s work is currently on display as part of the « Distance » exhibition at Art Windsor-Essex until October 19, co-curated by Dyana Ouvrard).

The discussion will be moderated by Dyana Ouvrard, curator and general and artistic director of the Labo.
