Le Labo is very pleased to welcome Sevia and Michelle from the Québécois cultural organization A l’Est de vos Empires for a unique workshop on the creation of cultural podcasts, on the weekend of March 25 and 26, 2023.
Le Labo has decided to offer a unique workshop to help understand the workings of the market, to discover the different types of dealers and trades related to art, and to navigate the different buying and selling channels. Participants will also learn about the different art styles and movements, and how they have influenced the evolution of the art market.
As part of our Ciné-club, Pix Films and Le Labo are partnering to introduce Torontonians to the work of artist-director Martin Rodolphe Villeneuve. This Quebec artist first started out as a scriptwriter and cartoonist. His art is an extension of
Le Labo Lab and Cinemawon are joining forces for the third year in a row and are organizing this February 15th an evening dedicated to Black cinema in the 70s. We will be showing three short films of Black directors
Le Labo continues as a new space for francophone artists in Toronto and this time welcomes member Antoine Quiet. We offer our studio for a week and organize visits with curators and peers.
