She currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Her abstract, non-figurative, and poetic images result from her cinematographic explorations in Super 8, 16 mm, and 35 mm, as well as photography and video. The resulting imagery is strongly influenced by various animation techniques and styles.   <\/p>\n<p>Madi&#8217;s films have been screened at film festivals, alternative spaces, and contemporary art venues in Canada and abroad, including TIFF Wavelengths, the Festival du Cin\u00e9ma Jeune in Paris, the Biennale de la Imagen en Movimiento in Buenos Aires, and the Melbourne Animation Festival.
