Zhenchen Liu presents “Re-evolution,” an exhibition that explores the nonsense and disruptions caused by the frantic modernization of certain major cities. The artist observes how the eradication of historical traces affects populations and their collective imagination. For this exhibition, he presents a new series of photographs titled “Dinosaurs” as well as a series of videos, including a recent work on the transformations of Cuba in the era of modernization.
