The digitizing of visual art, the archiving of sound and audiovisual art and the different available archival media will among the subjects discussed. The presentation will be accompanied by a list of resources and practical references.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Abour the instructor<br \/>\nKristie MacDonald is an archivist and artist based in Toronto, Ontario. As an archival consultant she specializes in the areas of preservation and collections management. She holds a BFA from York University specializing in Visual Arts, and an MI from the University of Toronto specializing in Archives and Records Management. Kristie\u2019s research and writing is currently focused on media art preservation and artist-run centre archives.
