{"id":4171,"date":"2018-06-07T18:55:36","date_gmt":"2018-06-07T18:55:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lelabo.ca\/en\/?post_type=team&#038;p=4171"},"modified":"2019-07-11T15:39:00","modified_gmt":"2019-07-11T15:39:00","slug":"alexandre-loukos","status":"publish","type":"team","link":"https:\/\/lelabo.ca\/en\/team\/alexandre-loukos\/","title":{"rendered":"Alexandre Loukos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/76827060?app_id=122963\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"SUR LES TRACES DE PADEJO\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After studying cinema in Paris, <a href=\"https:\/\/lapsusfilms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Loukos<\/a> made his first documentary,\u00a0<i id=\"m_-2745462876715130018yiv9871371898yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1482118480601_4781\">The Man Next Door,<\/i> about filmmaker Theo Angelopoulos\u2019 unique form of cinematic storytelling (Director of <i id=\"m_-2745462876715130018yiv9871371898yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1482118480601_4611\">Eternity and a day<\/i>, which won the Palme d\u2019Or at Cannes in 1998).\u00a0<i id=\"m_-2745462876715130018yiv9871371898yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1482118480601_4781\">The Man Next Door<\/i>, an \u00ab\u00a0almodovarian\u00a0\u00bb comedy, made its way into many film festivals and was broadcast on television.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006, he became one of the Founding members of Le Labo des arts m\u00e9diatiques. Very committed to his practice, he explored new tools and participates\u00a0with other artists in the creation of\u00a0installations\u00a0and the making of experimental videos.\u00a0Simultaneously, Loukos is also an accomplished editor and he has worked on several television programs and documentaries broadcast on Groupe Media TFO, Radio-Canada, TV5, ARTV and the NFB. In 2015, his feature documentary\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/lapsusfilms.com\/following-padejo\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sur les traces de Padejo<\/a><\/em>\u00a0premiered at \u00ab\u00a0La semaine de la francophonie\u00a0\u00bb (francophone week in Toronto)\u00a0in partnership with Cin\u00e9Franco.
