Violane Lafortune holds a certificate in visual arts and in digital creation fron the University of Quebec in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue, as well as a doctorate in physical geography from the University of Laval. Her work has been presented several times at solo and group performances and expositions in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue, Quebec, Ontario, England, and Switzerland.
