Nelson Eduardo Vasquez

Originally from the Amazonian region of Caquetá, Eduardo Vasquez combines documentary filmmaking and immersive technologies to create what he calls “volumetric documentary.” After supporting Bolivian communities in film production and working as a Technical Artist at LUV/TFO, he founded NIKAI Interactive to explore new forms of cultural mediation. His current project with the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History aims to preserve archaeological heritage through volumetric capture. In September 2025, he will participate in the cinematography training program in Percé with Yves Bélanger.
