Samuel Choisy

Samuel Choisy (1974, France) is a visual artist working with photography. His work explores the notion of mental territory. His creative process consists of creating visual records of situations choreographed or improvised for the camera.
S. Choisy obtained a DNAP from L’École de l’Image d’Angoulême (1999) and a DNSEP from L’École des Beaux Arts de Nantes (2001). He recently received the Chalmers Arts Fellowship from the Ontario Arts Council. His work has been exhibited in France as well as in numerous European countries, the United States, and Canada. He lives and works in Toronto.
