Permission

Permission

“Permission” presents a series of evolving performances by Julie Lassonde centered on the idea of giving oneself permission, granting it to others, and allowing the space to transform. The artist explores the latent desires of bodies in space—those of the performer and of the audience. The program also includes “Duorama #110” by Paul Couillard and Ed Johnson, presented as part of the AGAVF and Viva! Art Action exchange. This encounter questions social responses to the intimacy of two men and to performed relationships.
