Rendez-vous: in front of le 401 Richmond W
Saturday, May 2nd 2026, 10AM to 11AM (no cost)

An urbain stroll : let’s rediscover the Fashion District together!
A very first collaboration between Le Labo and la Société d’Histoire de Toronto for the Jane’s Walk festival
What if we took the time to look up and truly see our city?
On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Le Labo and the Société d’Histoire de Toronto (SHT) are joining forces for the very first time! As part of the community-led Jane’s Walk Festival, we invite you to a friendly urban stroll titled “Facadism: Honest Compromise or Superficial Decor?”
Guided by Dyana Ouvrard (Le Labo) and Rolande Smith (SHT), we will explore the Fashion District together. Expect an hour of walking and discovering the architecture around us. Why are some old facades kept while the rest of the building is demolished? Is this genuine heritage preservation or just a “façade” for new towers?
We’ll wrap up our journey at St. Andrew’s Playground Park for a final chat about the future of our neighborhoods. So, lace up your most comfortable sneakers and come share this moment of conviviality and reflection with us.
Looking forward to walking with you.
