Marc Lemyre

Marc Lemyre is a spoken word poet, therapist, and photographer. In 2001, his first poetry collection, Zones de dos de baleines (Éditions prise de parole), was published, along with the show, the Turandot project. In 2004, he released his electric poetry album, “…gaga pour ton zoom” (Trille Or Poetry Prize). In 2009, Marc Lemyre received an award from the Foundation for the Advancement of Francophone Theater in Canada. His latest theatrical work, l’honnête homme / un one woman show, starring actress Geneviève Couture, earned five Rideau awards in 2010. He worked as a freelance producer for Radio-Canada radio for 15 years. As a photographer, he has worked for clients including: Radio-Canada, Théâtre La Catapulte, Carbone 14, Théâtre Momentum, Théâtre français de Toronto, Voir magazine, Liaison magazine, Pollution Probe, the University of Ottawa, etc.
