BEANS

BEANS

Le Labo presents “BEANS” by Tracey Deer, in partnership with REEL Canada, as part of National Canadian Film Day. The film revisits the armed standoff known as the Oka Crisis, experienced by the director when she was twelve years old. Through the eyes of a young girl, the work addresses the resistance of the Mohawk Nation of Kanesatake and Kahnawà:ke, political memory, and the promise to one day tell this story through cinema.
