French Farsi Rendez-Vous

French Farsi Rendez-Vous

“French Farsi Rendez-Vous” brings together three languages: Farsi, French, and English. The performances are not translated and take place in the language chosen by the artists. The conversation becomes an experience of translation and reception, where each person receives a different message depending on the languages they master. Gita Hashemi, Heather Hermant, and Maryam Taghavi open spaces for reflection on the transmission of linguistic identity in visual and media arts.
