“Image Transfer” Workshop | Ontario Culture Days

Create an artwork through image transfer

Image transfer workshop at 401 Richmond: join us for the “Image Transfer” public workshop led by multidisciplinary artist Jacques Descoteaux, presented as part of Culture Days.

During this workshop, participants will select their favorite images and photos from magazines. Then, using Mylar paper and specific techniques, they will learn to transfer these images to create their own artwork, guided by the artist’s expert advice.

Designed as an accessible moment of exploration, this workshop allows participants to discover a unique artistic technique while developing their creativity. Whether you are a beginner or already experienced, you will be guided through each step of the process, from image selection to the final creation.

This creative session also encourages exchange and experimentation in a friendly atmosphere. Participants will leave with an original work as well as a better understanding of the possibilities offered by image transfer.

This event is part of the Culture Days programming, an initiative celebrating creativity and public participation across Ontario.
