Conversation with the Camelia Committee

As part of the 2025 Images Festival, Le Labo welcomes the Camelia Committee for a discussion regarding their curatorial and artistic practice.

Moderated by Dyana Ouvrard, this French-language encounter will bring together Nour Ouayda and Mira Adoumier to discuss their approaches, projects, and evolution. Founded in Beirut in 2020, the collective explores the relationships between image, text, voice, and sound, intersecting writing, filmmaking, and film programming.

This conversation is a unique opportunity to discover how their practices have developed through various contexts and collaborations. The artists will also share their approach to fiction and their way of exploring the uncanny in everyday life.

Open to all, the discussion will be held at Le Labo (Studio 277) as well as online, promoting accessibility and engagement with the audience.

In parallel, the Camelia Committee will present a special two-day program at Innis Town Hall as part of the festival, featuring screenings highlighting their artistic universe.
