Montreal, Berlin and Back

“Montreal, Berlin and Back” presents the work of Lysanne Thibodeau, a filmmaker whose career spans experimental cinema, art house films, documentary, and fiction. The retrospective brings into dialogue her Berlin films, her early films made in Montreal, and her autobiographical film “Éloge du Retour.” The program highlights a journey marked by collaborations, travels, and connections between personal memory, cultural history, and independent filmmaking practices.
