Observation and Writing Evening

A notebook, a pen, an exhibition at 401 Richmond, and inspiration from Nicolas Nova’s ‘observation notebook’.

A sensory exploration of reality through observation and writing exercises at an exhibition at 401 Richmond.

Led by Dyana Ouvrard, this workshop draws inspiration from Nicolas Nova’s book *Exercices d’observation* and offers a sensory exploration of reality through observation and writing exercises. The workshop will begin with a visit to a gallery located in the historic 401 Richmond building, to sharpen one’s gaze and attention to the ordinary, then continue with a return to the studio to put the collected observations into words.
