Perils

Perils

Alex Loukos’s “Perils” is presented as a world premiere by Cinéfranco. The film addresses the troubled times we live in and acts as an allegory for contemporary behavior in the face of repeated warnings. Two parallel stories intertwine to evoke striking images and events of the 21st century. Through dialogue, visual evocation, and the absence of speech, the film attempts to reconcile with traumatic images and questions the future in a context of intolerance, division, and climate crisis.
