Poetry Writing Workshop

Poetry writing workshop with Noémie Roy

Le Labo is offering a poetry writing workshop alongside the Toronto French Book Fair, centered on the exhibition L’épingle filante.

Echoing this “showcase” project, Noémie Roy will lead a step-by-step guided writing session, inviting participants to explore their own poetic language. The workshop will be held at the UOF and is open to anyone curious about discovering or deepening their writing practice.

Spaces are limited to 10 participants to ensure attentive guidance and high-quality exchange. This event is part of a program aimed at promoting artistic practices and encouraging dialogue between artists and the Francophone community.

Through her work, Noémie Roy explores themes related to the body, memory, and intimate experience in a sensitive and engaged language. This workshop is a unique opportunity to discover her world and be guided through an accessible and inspiring creative process.
