Sensual Life
“Sensual Life: The Films and Videos of Kyoko Michishita” is the first North American exhibition devoted to the artist, writer, and translator. Kyoko Michishita was among the first to embrace video in Japan, as part of the Video Hiroba collective. The exhibition presents newly restored digital works showcased at Le Labo, with videos subtitled in French and English through a collaboration between Images Festival and Le Labo. The program invites viewers to engage in critical reflection on society and the place afforded to women.
