Flânerie at High Park 2025 with Tania Love

Autumn flânerie and plant-based dyes

Plant-based dye flânerie at High Park: join us on Saturday, October 19 from 10:00 AM for an autumn stroll during which we will collect natural materials to turn them into plant-based dyes. A true outdoor workshop.

Tania Love, a visual artist who uses plant-based dyes in her artistic practice, will guide you in collecting and then transforming leaves, plants, and other vegetation into dyes. You will use jars, Japanese paper, and fabric to begin the process directly in the park, and then you will be able to observe its evolution at home.

Designed as an accessible, sensory experience, this activity invites you to slow down, observe, and reconnect with nature in an urban setting. It is intended for anyone curious to explore ecological and experimental artistic practices.

Please note:

Bring two 500 ml jars and water
