Structured Light

Structured Light

In “Structured Light,” Philippe Blanchard continues his experiments combining computer-controlled light displays and screen-printed paper sculptures. Two new works, a sculptural installation and a wall collage, are inspired by architectural structures related to fire or light. The artist considers fire as a primitive visual technology, a poetic precursor to cinema and animation. The exhibition examines our cultural relationship with the moving image and the perception of time.
