Founded in 2006, Le Labo is Toronto’s only Francophone artist-run center dedicated to media arts (video, photography, sound, digital). It is a place where artists come to create, experiment, learn, and engage with other practices through residencies, exhibitions, workshops, and events. Designed by and for artists, Le Labo supports both emerging and established practices in a spirit of sharing, eco-responsibility, and attention to process. Through its Micro cycle, it is currently developing human-scale formats to allow ideas to emerge differently.
