Katia Café-Fébrissy

Katia Café-Fébrissy, also known as KaFé, found the courage to declare her love for cinema to the world just 10 years ago. Following her first film produced by the NFB, she never looked back.

Throughout her career as a filmmaker, KaFé has experimented with various approaches. She has made wonderful discoveries and, at times, encountered setbacks. Nevertheless, she has never ceased to cultivate her artistic garden. She has even received multiple awards.

Today, she continues to devote herself to her passion for writing. Her credits include writing several television episodes, as well as directing numerous films, including documentaries, fiction, virtual reality, and music videos. In addition, she is active in the theatre.

KaFé is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC), the Société des auteurs de radio, télévision et cinéma (SARTEC), the Centre des auteurs dramatiques (CEAD), the Academy of Canadian Cinema Television, the Front des réalisateurs indépendants du Canada (FRIC), the Labo (Francophone Media Arts Centre), the Playwrights Guild of Canada (PGC), and Théâtre Action.
