Polaroid in the City: Emulsion Transfer

Explore black-and-white Polaroid emulsion transfer and leave with unique images on watercolor paper.

With artist-instructor Jackie Rancourt, explore black-and-white Polaroid emulsion transfer, a technique that allows you to lift the image and reinterpret it on watercolor paper to create unique, delicate compositions. Weather permitting, we will take photos outdoors or within the 401 Richmond building, and each participant will leave with a personal 3×3 image transferred onto paper.

To be brought by participants:

  • Phone, digital cameras
  • Artists and photography enthusiasts are welcome.
