Paul Ruban
Paul Ruban is a Franco-Ontarian writer, literary translator, and screenwriter. His collection of short stories Crevasion en corbillard (Flammarion Quebec, 2019) has won the Trillium prize, and his translation of La neige des cocotiers by Derek Mascarenhas was a finalist for the John-Glassco award in 2022. Currently running for the Trillium prize, his first novel, Le parfum de la baleine, has been qualified as one of the ‘eight essential titles’ of 2023 by La Presse. He divides his time between Canada and Germany.
