Katia Café-Fébrissy
Katia Café-Fébrissy, alias KaFé, had the courage to confess her love for cinema to the world just 10 years ago. After her first film produced by ONF, she has never looked back.
Throughout her carrier as a filmmaker, KaFé has tried many things. She has made marvelous discoveries, and was also sometimes wrong. Nevertheless, she has never stopped cultivating her artistic garden. She has even received multiple awards.
Today, she continues to indulge in her passion for writing. She has to her credit writing for several television episodes, as well as directing several films, including documentaries, fiction, virtual reality, and music videos. In addition, she works in theatre.
KaFé is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC); the Society of Authors in Radio, Television and Cinema (SARTEC); Centre for Dramatic Authors (CEAD); the Canadian Academy of Cinema; the Front of Independent Directors of Canada (FRIC); the Center of Francophone Media Arts (LABO); the Playwrights guide of Canada (PGC); and Théâtre Action.
