This winter, Le Labo launches its first Permanence hivernale, a unique professional development program for Labo members and Toronto’s francophone artists. For two weeks, from Wednesday to Sunday, Le Labo becomes an open-access space where you can advance your projects, exchange ideas and enrich your skills.

With hands-on workshops, conversation circles, evening screenings and a closing flea market, this program celebrates collaboration and accessibility.

What does this experience have in store for you?

🎥 Three evenings of screenings of French-language works
💡 Micro-training sessions with industry professionals (script proofreading, among others)
🌱 A participatory brunch on the arts and eco-responsibility.
✏️ Practical workshops to structure your career (grants, tax management, selling work)
🤝 Networking moments to connect with curators and peers.

To round off these two weeks of exchange and creativity in style, a flea and barter market will be held on Saturday, February 1. Artists interested in selling their wares are invited to contact us by e-mail at dyana@lelabo.ca before January 15.

DETAILED PROGRAMMING TO COME

In the interests of accessibility, we use the “Pay What You Can” system for our film screenings and conversation circles. As for our brunch-debates, they are designed to be convivial and participative: everyone brings something to share!

For specialized workshops, we offer a wide range of prices to suit different needs. Opt now for a complete pass, giving access to all our activities, starting at $50 for Labo members.

We don’t want anyone to be excluded for financial reasons: your presence is important to us.

📍 See you January 16 at Le Labo
