Wednesday, April 17 is National Canadian Film Day !
And we can’t wait to explore the creativity, diversity and originality of Canadian filmmakers! On this occasion, we will screen “The Saddest Music in the World” by Guy Maddin.
Joyce Joumaa’s work explained by the artist herself? It’s Thursday April 11 at 6pm at Le Labo and/or Zoom, in partnership with Images Festival. Join us for a drink and a chat about cinema, architecture and political commitment. Don’t miss the screening of her film L’inertie du vide on Friday April 12 at 8pm at Innis Town Hall.
As part of Telefilm Canada’s Talent en vue program, DESIGNATED PARTNERS PANEL, Le Labo will once again be selecting submissions from emerging filmmakers from the Franco-Ontarian community. From now on, the only way to submit an application is by form no later than April 15 at midnight (Eastern Time).
6 degrés, territoires de narration, is a participatory artistic event that explores identity, dissects intimacy, and challenges the obscure boundaries of patriarchy through the magic of words.
We’re looking for people experimenting with challenges related to gender or femininity to take part in an epistolary, participatory, feminist and engaged art project that questions identity, gender and patriarchy.
