Exhibition « Cabinet de curiosité », November 2014
JOIN US on Wednesday 18th November 2015 for a friendly artistic and fun evening. On that special night, Le Labo will be holding its annual fundraising evening, whilst presenting its member’s work in the beautiful Galerie Pierre-Léon at the Alliance Française. The exhibition will be open to public until 11th December.
The invitation to exhibit is exclusive to our members and gives them the opportunity to present and sell their work, while supporting Le Labo.
60% of auction proceeds will go to the artists, with the remaining 40% going to Le Labo. This contribution will allow us to improve the benefits offered to our members – everyone’s a winner!
In addition to the opportunity to admire and purchase the works of art on display, this year’s goal is to increase our membership by 50% and improve our ability to better serve our members.
Date: Wednesday 18th November 2015 (work of art will only be on sale that first night and will be collectd on the 11th December, last day of the exhibition)

Dear Members:
Your annual exhibition is soon here and one advantage of your membership is to be able to present your work on that special evening. The auction will take place during the fundraising evening just after the grand opening on Wednesday 18th November 2015. Your work and bio will be exposed there until 11 December.
Members, showcasing their art, will perceive 60% of the sale, with the remaining 40% going to Le Labo. This contribution will allow us to improve the benefits offered to our members – including better training and better equipment.
The starting prices for the artwork in the auction will range from $100 to $250. You will find instructions on how to participate below.
If you haven’t renewed your membership or if you were thinking of doing it, now is the time to do it! Not only, will you be able to showcase your work on that evening, your membership will be valid for 15 months (instead of 12) for same price. Current members sponsoring a friend before 31st December, will get a 20% off their next membership (to be used before 31st March 2016).
This year, your work will be presented from 18th November until 11th December in the bright Galerie Pierre-Léon at the Alliance Française, close to Spadina subway station open to public.

This year’s theme is « Venus d’ailleurs ».
To participate, please email Clelia on direction@lelabo.ca before the 19th October with the following information:
- About your work: title, dimensions, medium, framed or not, starting price for the auction
- A picture of your work for administration
- A bio in both French and English
Work needs to be with us by Friday 6th November 5pm, at the latest. Our office is located on 24 Spadina Road, Salle 001 (underground). Please call us on 647.352.4411 to schedule a date. Please be aware that your work needs to be carefully wrapped and in a manner which will will make it easy to store.
