ECLECTIC-O Theatre Collective focuses on the interrelations between different artistic languages and their integration in the creative process.
During their residency at Le Labo, Eclectic-O questioned the idea of climate change through an exploration of the relation between the body and the projected image.

Artaud: Un Portrait en Décomposition
« Artaud: un portrait en décomposition » began as a theatrical adaptation of the poetry and letters of French poet, actor, surrealist and mad man Antonin Artaud. My initial work on the project was carried out at Le LABO with a grant from the OAC’s program « Jets de théâtre ». Artaud’s writings and ideas often defy conventional theories and practices of performance and interpretation and my research was carried out with this in mind.

Raison d’État
Le Laboratoire d’Art is pleased to present Raison d’État, a show by Stefan St-Laurent and Mikiki. Collaborating for the first time in a collective show, the artists address two very important issues affecting the LGBT community today: bullying and seropositivity. Each artist is presenting a series of artworks that will interplay in a dialogue about communication, state of being and politics within the walls of Le Labo.
