Quitterie Hervouet

Quitterie Hervouet moved to Toronto, Canada from France at the end of 2015. Her career path started in Paris as an actor, with an eye always towards comedy. She studied acting at Le Cours Simon in Paris and took English acting workshops with Joanna Bartolomew. She acted in multiple short films in Paris and Toronto but she quickly realized that she loved storytelling. She studied writing at George Brown and Comedy Bar and did workshops with Le Labo and Charles Street Video.

Recently, she collaborated with Iris Gardet, on French Off The Boat, a short film she co-produced, co-wrote and starred in. Also a theatre performer, she wrote her first one woman show, « Six degrees of me » and performed it in 2018 in Toronto. As a stand-up comedian, she has performed in various comedy shows like Friendly faces at The Second City. Quitterie Hervouet also leads a career as a journalist and covered the Toronto international Film Festival and Hot Docs. She has had articles published in Le Metropolitain, Avant Premiere Montreal and The French magazine Ecran Total.
