Thursday, December 7th at 6:30pm at studio 277 Tickets are available on Eventbrite Le Labo loves its artists and supports their diversity of expression, at every stage of their development. The Bazz’Art exhibition brings them together on the same wall:
Le Labo offers year-round training workshops in French for professional artists to support their artistic journey and accompany them in their careers.
For several weeks now, we’ve been talking about the Le Cercle program, which we started in the fall of 2022. Enough chatter for now, as we get down to work, and by we, I mean Saïda Ouchaou-Ozarowski, who takes over Le Labo’s studio on October 6, for a week of exploration.
As part of the Bulles exhibition, which highlights the work of artists featured in the Bulles d’Artistes series, the Alliance Française, in partnership with Le Labo and FRIC, is organizing an evening screening of films by two women filmmakers: Katia Café-Fébrissy and Saïda Ouchaou-Ozarowski.
We believe in the strength of this program for the future of francophone arts in Toronto and Ontario. However, for Le Cercle to continue to exist in 2024, and for us to be able to offer this opportunity to our artists, we need your support.
Le Labo is once again taking part in one of the biggest artistic events of the year by presenting a unique interactive installation during the seventeenth edition of Nuit Blanche, on Saturday, September 23. Meet in the halls of 401 Richmond!
Bulles highlights the creative force of our city’s talent, and features eleven local francophone artists. Beyond the screen, we invite the public to discover the talent of these artists, whose diverse practices range from painting and filmmaking to kinetic art, embroidery and photography. To be discovered at l’Alliance française de Toronto from September 23 to October 21, 2023.
The summer of 2023 is already well underway, and yet this vacation feeling is already making us want to discuss our back-to-school ideas. In response to the climate of uncertainty left by the pandemic, Le Labo is trying to slow things down to make room for exploration… after all, we are an Art Lab, hence our name!
